Behind the Scenes: How Our Content Gets Made
You’ve seen the videos — the product breakdowns, the drone tour, the team talking through what we do. Here’s how they get made.
If you follow us on LinkedIn or YouTube, you’ll have seen a lot more from us this year — product sound bites, a drone tour of our Hinckley facility, and podcast-style conversations filmed around the building rather than in a studio.
None of that happens by accident. Behind it is our media partner, Shot Blast Media, and a content strategy we built together at the start of the year.
In this video, the Shot Blast Media team pull back the curtain on how they approach a filming day with us — why the podcast conversations are filmed standing in our corridors, reception, and factory rather than sat on a sofa, and how one day of filming becomes months of content.
What’s in the Video
→ Why every piece of content starts with strategy — a full-day planning session before a camera ever comes out
→ How a single filming day at our site produced 10+ pieces of content — from event and announcement updates to GoPro footage and an FPV drone tour
→ The thinking behind the walking, podcast-style conversations — inspired by trackside F1 interviews, because that’s the world our aerospace and motorsport customers live in
→ Why the behind-the-scenes phone footage you see at the start of our social clips is deliberate, not accidental
→ How B-roll from the first shoot keeps working months later in new edits
Why We’re Sharing This
The composites industry runs on relationships. Before you order a pallet of bagging film from someone, you want to know who you’re dealing with.
That’s why our content shows real people, real products, and real processes — the team on the factory floor, the stock on the shelves, the fleet that gets it to you same-day. Filming it where the work actually happens felt more honest than a studio, and we think it comes across.
Credit to the Shot Blast Media team, who filmed this as part of their own case study series and kindly let us share it here. It’s not often you get to see your own business through someone else’s lens.
More to come
More of this is coming — event coverage, announcements, Tech Tuesday explainers, and a proper look at what arrives on our shelves. If there’s something you’d like us to cover, tell us.
